Triumph TR-6, 250, GT-6

TR-6-5700: This street grind gives strong acceleration without being temperamental. The best power range is 2600-5800, and it will rev to 6800 RPM. The idle is fast and smooth.  INTAKE: 25/61     EXHAUST: 65/21     DURATION: 266     LIFT: .400"

    Necessary mods: PAECO springs, retainers, and lifters (a one point compression boost, exhaust header, Primapower exhaust, racing ignition, aluminum flywheel, and Weber carbs will all add even more power, but are not mandatory).

TR-6-6500: For slaloms and hard street use, this grind provides very strong acceleration in the 2800-6500 RPM range, and will rev to 6800 RPM, giving a nice boost in top speed.  INTAKE: 27/63     EXHAUST: 67/23     DURATION: 270     LIFT: .435"

    Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust header, Primapower system, racing ignition (a modified cylinder head, aluminum flywheel, and Weber carbs will add even more power).

TR-6-6900: For racing only, this cam gives tremendous power in the 3800-6900 RPM range, and will rev to 7600. This one is great for SCCA sprint races.  INTAKE: 36/72     EXHAUST: 76/32     DURATION: 288     LIFT: .470"

    Necessary mods: 11-12:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust header, racing ignition, modified cylinder head, improved carburetion, and aluminum flywheel (a high ratio rear axle is optional).

TR-6-7700: For professionally prepared engines only, this grind delivers fantastic power in the 4800-7700 RPM range, and will rev to 8000 RPM. This grind is for national level SCCA or serious vintage racing .  INTAKE: 43/79     EXHAUST: 76/32     DURATION: 302     LIFT: .502"

    Mandatory mods: 12-14:1 compression, fully modified cylinder head, full PAECO valve train, exhaust headers, lumenition ignition, Weber carbs, aluminum flywheel, high ratio rear axle.

    Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs (an exhaust header, Primapower system, racing ignition, Weber carbs, aluminum flywheel, and a one point compression boost will all add more power, but are optional).

TR-7-6600: For slaloms and wild street use, this grind is very strong in the 2500-6600 RPM range, and will rev to 7400 RPM, giving a nice boost in top speed.  INTAKE: 27/63     EXHAUST: 67/23     DURATION: 270     LIFT: .390"

    Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust header, Primapower system, racing ignition (a modified cylinder head, aluminum flywheel, and Webers will add even more power).

TR-7-7200: For racing only, this cam gives very strong acceleration in the 3500-7200 RPM range and will rev to 7800 RPM, making it ideal for SCCA racing.  INTAKE: 43/72     EXHAUST: 74/41     DURATION: 295     LIFT: .378"

    Necessary mods: 11-12:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, modified cylinder head, exhaust header, racing ignition, improved carburetion, and aluminum flywheel.

TR-7-7800: For all-out racing only, this grind has a best power range of 4000-7800, and will rev to 8200 RPM. For all-out national level racing, the power output is tremendous.  INTAKE: 46/76     EXHAUST: 76/46     DURATION: 302     LIFT: .384"

    Mandatory mods: 12-14:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, fully modified cylinder head, exhaust header, racing ignition, Weber carbs, aluminum flywheel, high ratio rear axle.
