Subaru Impreza & Legacy SOHC:
SBS-6000: This grind is designed to produce more torque and acceleration, which is sadly lacking in the stock engine. The effective power range is 2400-6000, with a tremendous improvement in acceleration over the stock camshaft. INTAKE: 25/61 EXHAUST: 65/21 DURATION: 266 LIFT: .280"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual valve springs and retainers ( a one point compression boost and racing ignition will add even more power but are not mandatory).
SBS-6600: This grind has an unusually broad torque curve and can be used as a wild street grind in addition to slaloms and solo events. The best power range is 3000-6600. INTAKE: 34/66 EXHAUST: 70/30 DURATION: 280 LIFT: .292"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual valve springs and retainers, 10-11:1 compression, and a racing ignition Optional: modified cylinder head, copper head gaskets, chrome-moly con rods, aluminum flywheel.
SBS-7500: This grind is a screamer and delivers tremendous power, but is for racing only. The best power band is 4500-7500 RPM, and it will rev to well over 8500 in a properly prepared engine. INTAKE: 52/85 EXHAUST: 88/48 DURATION: 316 LIFT: .315"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual valve springs and titanium retainers, 11.5-13:1 compression, racing ignition, modified cylinder head, racing EXHAUST system, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods, aluminum flywheel.

SBD-6500: For performance street use, this grind provides more torque and acceleration with a slight boost in top speed. The best power range is 2400-6500, and it will rev to 7000. Great for the stop light Grand Prix, and good for turbo engines. INTAKE: 28/62 EXHAUST: 68/22 DURATION: 270 LIFT: .284"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual springs and retainers (A one point compression boost, cold air ram induction, modified cylinder head, and aluminum flywheel, will add even more power).
SBD-7200: This grind is for acceleration runs, drivers schools, and regional races. It gives tremendous acceleration and a vastly improved top speed. It has a wide power band of 3000-7200, and will rev to 7800 in a well prepared engine. INTAKE: 32/68 EXHAUST: 70/30 DURATION: 280 LIFT: .302"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual valve springs and retainers, 11:1 compression pistons. Optional: modified cylinder head, cold air ram induction, copper head gasket, chrome-moly con rods, aluminum flywheel.
SBD-8000: This grind is for all-out racing only, and delivers fantastic power in the 4000-8000 RPM range, revving all the way to 9000 in a well prepared engine. This is the ultimate Subaru racing camshaft. INTAKE: 40/76 EXHAUST: 78/38 DURATION: 296 LIFT: .328"
Necessary mods: PAECO dual valve springs and titanium retainers, 13:1 compression pistons, modified cylinder head, improved induction, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods, aluminum flywheel.
