Porsche 924 & 944

POR-6600: This street grind gives a real boost in acceleration without being temperamental. The best power range is 2800-6600, and it will rev to 7200 RPM.  INTAKE: 24/57     EXHAUST: 57/24     DURATION: 261     LIFT: .435"

    Necessary mods: PAECO springs and retainers (an exhaust header, Primapower system, racing ignition, and Weber carbs will provide even more power, but are not mandatory).

POR-7200: This grind gives tremendous acceleration and a nice boost in top speed. The best power range is 3200-7200, with a peak of 7800 RPM. Excellent for slaloms and heavy street use.  INTAKE: 30/70     EXHAUST: 70/30     DURATION: 280     LIFT: .451"

    Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, PAECO valve train, racing ignition, exhaust headers (A Primapower system, a modified cylinder head, copper head gasket, and Weber carbs are optional).

POR-7600: For racing only, this grind delivers tremendous power in the 3600-7200 RPM range, with a peak of 8000. This one is excellent for SCCA racing or solo events.  INTAKE: 38/72     EXHAUST: 72/38     DURATION: 290     LIFT: .460"

    Necessary mods: 12:1 compression, full PAECO valve train with titanium retainers, modified cylinder head, increased carburetion, exhaust headers, racing ignition, copper head gasket. Optional: chrome-moly or titanium con rods.

POR-8000: This racing cam is for professionally prepared engines only. It provides fantastic power in the 4200-8000 range, and will rev to 8400. Using high RPMs will require frequent rebuilds.  INTAKE: 38/76     EXHAUST: 76/38     DURATION: 294     LIFT: .470"

    Necessary mods: 13-14:1 compression, fully modified cylinder head, racing ignition, exhaust headers, increased carburetion, full PAECO valve train with titanium retainers, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods.

PO-928-6600: These cams are for street use and provide more acceleration and a boost in top end. The best rev range is 2800-6600 and they will rev to 7200.  INTAKE: 25/56     EXHAUST: 58/23     DURATION: 261     LIFT: 335"

    Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs. The valve tappet cups must be new or very good. A slight compression boost will provide even more power but is not necessary.

PO-928-7200: This grind gives tremendous acceleration, taking full advantage of the 928's torque, coupled with a very nice boost in top speed. Best power range is 3200-7200 with a peak of 7800.  INTAKE: 26/66     EXHAUST: 66/26     DURATION: 272     LIFT: 366"

    Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression pistons, PAECO valve springs and retainers. Valve tappet cups must be new or very good. Modified cylinder heads and chrome-moly rods are optional.

PO-928-7600: For racing only, this grind provides fantastic power in the 3600-7400 RPM range, and will rev to 8000. It provides tremendous acceleration coming out of corners.  INTAKE: 34/68     EXHAUST: 68/34     DURATION: 282     LIFT: 394"

    Necessary mods: 12-14:1 compression pistons, PAECO springs and titanium retainers, fully modified heads, copper head gaskets, chrome-moly or titanium con rods.

   Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs and retainers. A one-point compression boost, weber carbs, and modified heads will provide even more power but are not mandatory.

PO-911-7600: This grind is for racing only, providing tremendous power in the 4000-7600 RPM range, and will rev to well over 8000.     INTAKE: 39/59    EXHAUST: 72/20    DURATION: 258    LIFT: .430"

    Necessary mods: 11:1 compression, PAECO springs and retainers, fully modified heads, extractor exhaust, Weber carbs, and a high ratio rear axle.
