NISSAN 300-ZX (24-VALVE ENGINES)
D24-6000: This is a street grind for use in stock normally aspirated engines or in turbocharged engines. The best power range is 2400-6000 and it will rev easily to 7000 RPM. It is designerd to provide acceleration in the mid-range. The idle is fast. INTAKE: 30/62 EXHAUST: 70/22 DURATION: 272 LIFT: .331"
NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers (A modified cylinder head will provide higher revs)
D24-6600: This is a very hot street and drag cam for use in modified normally aspirated engines or in high boost turbo engines. Both acceleration and top speed are vastly improved. Best power range is 2800-6600 and it will rev to 7600 RPM. The idle is rough. INTAKE: 32/66 EXHAUST: 72/26 DURATION: 278 LIFT: .345"
NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers, 11:1 compression or high turbo boost, modified cylinder head
D24-7400: This is for racing only and is great for drag racing, with tremendous acceleration and a lot of top end. It is not for street use. Best power range is 3200-7000, and it will rev to over 8000 RPM. INTAKE: 36/68 EXHAUST: 74/30 DURATION: 284 LIFT: .354"
NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers, 12:1 compression or high turbo boost and 9:1 compression, modified cylinder head, copper head gaskets, and chrome-moly con rods. For drag racing use an aluminum flywheel.
D24-8000: These cams provide tremendous power and very high RPM capability. Best power is between 400 and 8000, and they will rev to over 9000 RPM. INTAKE: 38/70 EXHAUST: 74/34 DURATION: 288 LIFT: .367"

KA-6000: These cams are for street use in an otherwise unmodified engine and provide strong acceleration. The best power range is 2400-6000 and they will rev to over 7000 RPM. The idle is fast. These cams are good for turbo engines. INTAKE: 22/58 EXHAUST: 60/20 DURATION: 260 LIFT: .364"
NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs & retainers (A modified head is not mandatory but will provide even more power).
KA-6800: These are hot street cams with very strong acceleration and a good boost in top speed. the best power range is 2800-6800 and they will rev to 7800. The idle is rough. These cams are recommended for combination street and drag strip. INTAKE: 26/64 EXHAUST: 66/24 DURATION: 270 LIFT: .388"
NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers, 11:1 compression, modified cylinder head. An aluminum flywheel should be used for drag racing.
KA-8000: These cams are for racing only and produce tremendous
power. The best power range is 3400-8000 and they will rev to over 8800 RPM.
