Mitsubishi 2000, 2200, 2400 DOHC (Eclipse, Conquest, Talon, etc.)

MIT-6000: For street use only, this camshaft is not temperamental, and will give strong acceleration. The best power range is 2500-6000, and it will rev to 7000 RPM. This grind is good for turbo engines on the street. INTAKE: 25/61 EXHAUST: 61/25 DURATION: 266 LIFT: .398"

Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs and retainers. Optional: Header, racing ignition, modified head, free-flow exhaust.

MIT-6800: This grind is for slaloms and wild street use. It gives very strong acceleration in the 3200-6800 RPM range and will rev to 7800 in a properly prepared engine. INTAKE: 29/61 EXHAUST: 65/25 DURATION: 270 LIFT: .415"

Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust headers, racing ignition, and free-flow exhaust. Optional: modified cylinder head, copper head gasket, chrome-moly rods, oversized valves.

MIT-7500: For racing only, this cam provides tremendous acceleration in the 3800-7500 RPM range and will rev to 8200, providing a big increase in top end. INTAKE: 37/68 EXHAUST: 73/32 DURATION: 285 LIFT: .420"

Necessary mods: 12:1 compression, full PAECO valve train with titanium retainers, exhaust header, racing ignition, modified cylinder head, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods. Oversized valves are optional.

MIT-8000: For all-out racing only, this cam delivers fantastic power in the 4200-8000 RPM range, and will rev to 8800 in a properly prepared engine. This is for national level contenders. INTAKE: 40/82 EXHAUST: 80/42 DURATION: 302 LIFT: .438"

Necessary mods: 13-14:1 compression, fully modified cylinder head, racing ignition, exhaust headers, full PAECO valve train with titanium retainers, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods, oversized valves.

MT-5500: This street camshaft is not temperamental and will give powerful acceleration. The best power range is 1800-5500, and it will rev to over 6000 RPM -- a good turbo cam. INTAKE: 26/60 EXHAUST: 64/24 DURATION: 266 LIFT: .402

Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs and retainers. Optional: Exhaust header, improved ignition, modified cylinder head, free-flow exhaust

MT-6000: This grind is for slaloms and hard street use. It gives very strong acceleration in the 2800-6000 RPM range and will rev all the way to 6600 in a good 2600 engine. INTAKE: 28/62 EXHAUST: 64/26 DURATION: 270 LIFT: .438"

Necessary mods: 11:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust headers, racing ignition, free-flow exhaust.
