Lotus 1600 DOHC (Elan & Europa)
LO-7000: These cams produce lots of torque for strong acceleration in street machines. The best power range is 2600-7000 RPM and they will rev to 7800. The idle is fast but smooth. Int: 38/70 Exh: 74/34 Duration: 288 Lift: .360" NECESSARY MODS: PAECO inner and outer springs and retainers
LO-7800: This grind is for slaloms and wild street use. The best power range is 3500-7800 RPM, with a top of 8400. These cams provide tremendous acceleration and greatly improved top speed. Int: 44/76 Exh: 80/40 Duration: 300 Lift: .350" NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers plus an extractor exhaust manifold and racing ignition. A modified cylinder head is optional but will give even more power in the upper RPM ranges.
LO-8500: These are all-out racing camshafts that provide fantastic power in the 4800-8500 RPM range, and will rev to 9000 or more in a properly prepared engine. They should not be used by a novice engine builder due to the high RPM. Int: 52/84 Exh: 88/48 Duration: 316 Lift: .415" NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and titanium retainers, fully modified head, extractor exhaust manifold, racing ignition, and Weber carburetors.

NOTE: New cams require different valve adjusting shims. You must first install the cams in the head and then measure to find out what thickness shims you need. We can then furnish shims in any desired thickness.
Lotus Europa R-16
LER-6000: This street grind gives good torque and acceleration without being temperamental. The best power range is 2500-6000 RPM, and it will rev to 7000.This cam can be used with the stock pistons. Int: 30/56 Exh: 60/26 Duration: 266 Lift: .401" NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers
LER-6600: For slaloms and wild street machines, this grind provides very strong mid-range acceleration and a nice boost in top end. The best power range is 3200-6600 and it will rev to 7500 RPM. Int: 32/58 Exh: 62/28 Duration: 270 Lift: .405" NECESSARY MODS: 11:1 compression, PAECO springs and retainers, racing ignition (a modified cylinder head will provide even more power but is optional).
LER-7200: For racing only, this grind provides outstanding power in the 3800-7200 RPM range and will rev to 7800. Excellent for SCCA events with strong acceleration coming out of the corners. Int: 45/70 Exh: 74/41 Duration: 295 Lift: .415" NECESSARY MODS: 12:1 compression, PAECO springs, titanium retainers, aluminum or titanium pushrods, modified cylinder head, racing ignition, and extractor exhaust header.
LER-8000: For all-out racing at the National level, provides tremendous power in the 4200-8000 RPM range, and will rev up close to 9000. This cam is not for novice engine builders or the faint of heart. Int: 48/74 Exh: 78/44 Duration: 302 Lift: .430" NECESSARY MODS: 13-14:1 COMPRESSION, PAECO springs with titanium retainers and pushrods, modified cylinder head, extractor exhaust header, racing ignition, increased carburetion, and a high ratio rear axle.

JH-7000: This street grind provides good torque and acceleration in the 2500-7000 RPM range without being temperamental. It will rev all the way to 7800. INTAKE: 34/74 EXHAUST: 78/30 DURATION: 288 LIFT: .360"
Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs (an exhaust header and racing ignition will provide additional power, but are not mandatory).
JH-7800: For slaloms and wild street use, these cams provide tremendous acceleration and a healthy boost in top end. The best power range is 3500-7800 RPM, and they will rev to 8400. INTAKE: 44/76 EXHAUST: 80/40 DURATION: 300 LIFT: .370"
Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, PAECO springs and retainers, racing ignition, exhaust headers, modified head.
JH-8600: For racing only, these cams provide enormous power in the 4500-8600 range and will rev to 10,000 with proper engine preparation. These are best suited to SCCA racecars. INTAKE: 52/84 EXHAUST: 88/48 DURATION: 316 LIFT: .415"
Necessary mods: 12-14:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, fully prepared cylinder head, exhaust headers, racing ignition, increased carburetion, copper head gasket, chrome-moly or titanium con rods.
