Jaguar 6-cylinder (3.8 and 4.2 liter SOHC)

JA-5400: This mild street grind is designed for increased torque and acceleration in the 2000-5400 rpm range, and will rev to 6000.             INTAKE :34/66     EXHAUST: 70/30     DURATION: 280     LIFT: .328"

    Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs (a one point compression boost, exhaust header, Primapower system, and racing ignition will add even more power but are not mandatory).

JA-6200: This grind is for slaloms and wild street engines. Both acceleration and top speed are greatly increased. The best power range is 2500-6200, and will rev to 6600 rpm. INTAKE: 38/70     EXHAUST: 74/34     DURATION: 288     LIFT:.360"

    Necessary mods: 10-11:1 compression, PAECO springs and retainers, exhaust headers, racing ignition (a modified cylinder head, Primapower system, and weber carbs will give even more power, but are not mandatory).

JA-6800: For racing only, this grind provides tremendous power in the 3000-6800 rpm range, and will rev to 7200. It has been used with excellent success in SCCA events. INTAKE: 45/77     EXHAUST: 81/41     DURATION: 302     LIFT: .373"

    Necessary mods: 11-12:1 compression, full PAECO valve train, exhaust headers, racing ignition, modified cylinder head.

JA-7200: For professionally prepared high rpm engines only, this grind delivers fantastic power in the 3500-7200 rpm range and will rev to 7500.     Necessary mods: PAECO valve springs (a compression boost to 9:1 will give better acceleration, but is not mandatory). A Primapower exhaust system will add additional power.

JA-12-6500: For slaloms and heavy street use, this grind provides very strong acceleration in the 2500-6500 rpm range and will rev to 7200 rpm, giving a nice boost in top end.     INTAKE: 38/70     EXHAUST: 74/34     DURATION: 288     LIFT: .380"

    Necessary mods: 10-11 compression, racing ignition, PAECO springs and retainers, modified cylinder heads, Primapower exhaust system.

JA-12-7200: For racing only, this grind provides tremendous power in the 3500-7000 rpm range and will rev to 7500 rpm, for a big boost in top speed. Primarily for SCCA races.     INTAKE: 44/76     EXH: 80/40     DURATION: 300     LIFT: .398"
