Datsun SPL-310, 311

DS-6000: This is a good, torquey street grind for strong acceleration. The best power range is 2600-6000 RPM with a max RPM of 7000. . INTAKE: 27/59    EXHAUST: 63/23    DURATION: 266    LIFT: 387".     NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers are necessary to accommodate the increased lift

DS-6800: This grind is for slaloms, solo events, and hard street use, with tremendous acceleration. Best power range is 3000-6800 and will rev to 7500 RPM. INTAKE: 29/61    EXHAUST: 65/25    DURATION: 270    LIFT: .421    NECESSARY MODS: 10-11:1 compression, racing ignition, exhaust headers, full PAECO valve train. A modified cylinder head will provide even more power.

Datsun U-20 (SOHC)

DSU-6800: This grind is for street use and provides strong acceleration in the 2200-6800 RPM range. A one-point compression boost is helpful. INTAKE: 27/63    EXHAUST: 67/23    DURATION: 270    LIFT: .435"    NECESSARY MODS: PAECO springs and retainers

DSU-7200: For slaloms and hard street use, this grind makes the roadster a very strong performer. The best power range is 2800-7200 and it peaks around 8000 RPM. INTAKE: 32/68    EXHAUST: 72/28    DURATION: 280    LIFT: .492"    NECESSARY MODS: 11:1 compression, PAECO springs and retainers, racing ignition, exhaust headers. For high RPM a modified head is also necessary.
